Fall is in full swing. The weather is cooling down and is only going to get cooler, but the real estate market remains hot. Here are my top tips for selling a home in the fall and winter seasons:

1. Consider your curb appeal. Too many distractions can hurt your curb appeal. Make sure you manage your leaves so that buyers can see your beautiful yard.

2. Take down Halloween decorations. These can actually put buyers off. The same goes for Christmas decorations. Having a few is nice, but too many could cause a buyer to discount your home.

"Inventory is still low and prices are high."

3. Showcase natural light. This is the perfect time of year to showcase natural light in your home. Open up those curtains and blinds, especially during showings.

4. Showcase your cozy spaces. If you have a gazebo or porch like I’m in in the video above, accentuate that as well. Show buyers that your home is cozy and inviting.

As you can see, there are a lot of great ways to market your home during the fall season while inventory is low and prices are still high. If you have questions about selling your home or anything else related to real estate, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
