Today I’m back with Christian from Size Property Services. We’re live from a bathroom renovation we’re working on, and that got me thinking. What do you need to know when renovating a bathroom? Today we’re going to go over a few points to think about when renovating your bathroom:
"Be prepared to take on a larger project than you initially planned."
1. Do you want a bathroom renovation, or do you need one? Take this bathroom we’re standing in front of, for example. This bathroom needed a renovation badly. It wasn’t installed properly, and as a result, mold and structural issues created a hazard. This was all happening behind the scenes too, so our client didn't even know what was going on. If you find out you have issues like this, you need to renovate ASAP.
2. Plan for something bigger. If you peel back the walls of your bathroom, there’s a good chance you’ll find a bigger issue you weren't aware of. Be prepared to take on a larger project than you initially planned. Your simple cut-and-paste project could be more involved than you thought. 3. Safety equipment is important. When Christian sprays foam, he wears a special suit to make sure he stays safe. You never know what you will run into when renovating your bathroom, so dress appropriately for whatever you might find. If you have any questions for me or Christian, please call or email me. I’d love to help you!
