Right now is probably one of the best times to be a seller that I’ve ever seen in my 16 years of doing business. There are six reasons, in particular, why you should consider an early spring home sale:
1. There’s less competition among sellers. Both supply and interest rates are low and buyer demand is high, meaning you’ll stand out to the buyers on the market more than ever before.
2. Buyers are more serious. Since there aren’t a lot of homes to choose from, the buyers who are looking at making a purchase now are going to be more serious than those who look during a season where there are plenty of options.

3. You can take great photos and videos. Take advantage of the season by getting listing photos and videos done now while everything looks great. That will separate you from the competition. Many out-of-town buyers are looking to purchase right now, and if you have high-end video footage and 3D imagery of your home, it will give you a stronger chance of enticing those buyers.
4. Corporate transfers are common right now. People are moving into and out of our city to relocate for jobs, so listing now would help you take advantage of the increased traffic.
5. You’ll get the best customer service from vendors. Vendors don’t tend to be as busy this time of year, meaning they’ll be more attentive to your needs and you’ll get a higher quality of service.
6. You’ll have more time to get the prices you want. You’re at least a month or two before the late spring/summer market, where there tends to be an upswing in inventory. By listing now, you’ll have more time to prepare your home and dial in the marketing in order to get the price you want.
