Where is the real estate market heading in this shifting economy? While attending the Mike Ferry Superstar Retreat in Las Vegas, Nevada, I learned so much from the top agents and leaders in the industry that will help answer this question. I took some notes that I’d like to share with you.
Many experts predict a domino effect in our economy. As access to capital becomes increasingly difficult due to the rising interest rates, we'll have a decrease in business growth compared to what we've seen from 2020 onwards. With less business growth, there will likely be a faltering in our employment figures. In turn, this can have a weakening effect on our stock market.

Ultimately, all of these factors could curb demand in the real estate market. It may take some time to adjust to this new normal, but properties would still sell, and home values would remain high. However, we must keep in mind how these factors will play out over the next six to 12 months.
